Transatlantica was designed for Vista Alegre by one of the most renowned Brazilaian designers today – Brunno Jahara. He used the inspiration of crossing the great Atlantic to highlight the union of blood between two worlds in a unique multicultural interpretation. Transatlantica is a work full of symbolism: the caravel represents the discovery of Brazil, the bugle from the Carnival festivities and its Samba schools, the star – a key element of the compass evokes the sea and the spirit of discovery, the tiles reflect Portuguese art and culture. In Transatlantica we find two countries united by the ocean that separates them.
